Our services /// How we can help
Fault diagnostics
We inspect the vehicle based on the reported symptoms. Computer diagnostics, live-data checks, measurements and system inspections.
Engine and related systems
Petrol and diesel engines, cooling, intake, exhaust, turbochargers and fuel systems. Software deactivation of DPF, EGR and Start-Stop functions.
"Mali" and "veliki" service
A minor service includes replacing the engine oil and the filters specified for the vehicle. A major service covers the timing system and the set of components required for the specific engine.
/// "Mali" and "veliki" service in Serbian and registration
“Mali” and “veliki” service in Serbian and registration are often mentioned together, although they serve different purposes.
“Mali” service primarily means replacing the engine oil and filters. The exact filter set depends on the vehicle and its maintenance schedule. If the brakes, suspension or technical fluids have not been checked recently, mention this when booking. For petrol engines, we also recommend replacing the spark plugs at every second service.
“Veliki” service covers the engine timing system. Depending on the engine design, this may involve a belt or chain, pulleys, tensioners and related components. The scope and interval are determined by the specific engine.
Registration inspection confirms whether a vehicle meets the statutory requirements for use on public roads. It is not a diagnostic inspection or routine maintenance, and passing it does not confirm that a vehicle is free of hidden faults. Our partner agency can arrange the inspection, renew the registration sticker and assist with the paperwork without requiring your attendance.
/// Braking system, ABS and ESP
At November Kilo, we replace brake pads, discs and hoses, service calipers, replace brake fluid and bleed the system. Parts are selected using the VIN and the installed braking system, as disc sizes, caliper types and pad designs may differ even within the same model.
During servicing, we check disc thickness and condition, evenness of pad wear, and the operation of caliper guides and pistons. We inspect hoses, pipes and connections for damage or leaks. If the vehicle vibrates under braking, pulls to one side or the pedal travel changes, we first identify the cause and then determine the required repair.
Brake fluid is selected according to the manufacturer specification. Replacement and bleeding are performed with the system design in mind and, where required, using diagnostic equipment. On vehicles with an electronic parking brake, we follow the correct service procedure for the rear brakes. After completing the work, we check the connections for leaks and verify braking operation.
/// Vehicle detailing and interior cleaning
Interior detailing at November Kilo covers the seats, carpets, headliner, door cards, plastics and luggage compartment. We pay particular attention to seams, joints and other areas where dirt gradually accumulates and remains after ordinary cleaning.
Products and treatment methods are selected for each material and its condition. Textiles are cleaned according to the type of staining; leather receives suitable cleaning and care; and plastics and vinyl are treated with appropriate protective products. Steam is used only where the materials and component design allow it. Services can also include interior ozone treatment, climate-system treatment and steam cleaning of the engine bay.
We address stains and odours caused by tobacco, pets, spilled drinks or moisture. The source must be identified so that the areas requiring treatment can be determined. We discuss realistic results based on the condition of the interior, as worn leather, damaged trim and burn marks require different restoration methods.
Interior detailing can be combined with post-purchase vehicle maintenance. For an initial assessment, send us several photos of the interior via Telegram or email and tell us which areas need particular attention.
/// DPF and EGR deactivation, turbocharger repair
We provide software deactivation of DPF and EGR functions, as well as turbocharger diagnostics and repairs for diesel and petrol vehicles. Before starting work, we check fault codes, operating data and the condition of related systems, including the intake, exhaust and boost-control systems.
Software deactivation of DPF and EGR functions involves modifying the relevant functions in the engine control unit software. The work required depends on the model, control-unit version and condition of the vehicle. If the software has previously been modified or the system has already been worked on, we take this into account during diagnostics. Software changes alone do not resolve mechanical wear, leaks or fuel-system faults.
In cases of power loss, smoke, whistling or increased oil consumption, we inspect the turbocharger and its operating conditions: oil supply and return, the integrity of hoses and the intercooler, and boost control. Turbocharger repair may involve removal, rebuilding or replacement, followed by refitting. We determine the scope after inspection, paying close attention to the cause of the damage and the condition of related components. After reassembly, we verify the operating parameters of the boost system.
/// Vehicle selection and pre-purchase inspection
We can help you select a vehicle in Serbia or inspect a specific car you have found yourself. For a complete vehicle-selection service, we first discuss your budget, requirements and intended use. We consider not only the purchase price, but also the likely maintenance costs of the chosen engine, transmission and specification.
We handle listing searches, communication with sellers and vehicle inspections. We assess the bodywork and signs of previous repairs, engine and transmission operation, suspension, brakes, electrical equipment and climate system. We perform computer diagnostics, review the available history and compare the condition of the vehicle with its stated mileage. Particular attention is paid to known inspection points for the specific model and drivetrain.
After the inspection, we explain what was found, what questions remain and what expenditure may be required after purchase. This provides a factual basis for discussing the price with the seller and deciding whether the car suits your needs. If it does not, our complete selection service continues with further searches and inspections until a vehicle matching the agreed requirements is found.
Once a vehicle has been selected, we can assist with the purchase, documentation, insurance, roadworthiness inspection and registration. Maintenance and interior detailing can also be arranged at November Kilo.
/// Our work
How often should minor and major services be carried out?
A minor service is generally recommended every 8,000–10,000 kilometres or once a year, taking fuel and oil quality and the local climate into account. The major-service interval depends on the vehicle and the timing-system design, as chains, conventional timing belts and wet belts follow different maintenance schedules.
What should I do if my car will not start?
If critical warnings are displayed or the vehicle does not start normally, we do not recommend repeated attempts without first identifying the problem. A jump-start may be possible when carried out correctly, but it will not resolve every fault. The safest next step is to contact us directly.
Can I order tyres through you?
Yes. We source and fit tyres and wheels for a wide range of vehicles. We can offer new products with a warranty or more affordable used options.
How can I avoid scams or buying the wrong car?
The first step is to define the type of vehicle you actually need. The Serbian market offers options even on a limited budget, but each vehicle should be checked individually, including its history and likely maintenance costs. A professional inspection and realistic assessment can reduce the risk of a poor purchase, while recognising that every vehicle will require some ongoing investment.
